Romuald Dondjio
My name is Romuald Dondjio. I was born and raised in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
At the age of twenty, I flew to Malaysia, where I spent five years pursuing a degree in higher education. In 2012, I moved to the United States, where I met my mentor, Michelle Cauley, whose passion was not only community service but also advocacy for children.
I worked alongside Michelle, learning how to positively impact others’ lives and serving the community. This is how I started developing my passion for community service.
My passion is to help feed the homeless community in the downtown area. I have also had the honor to work with Michelle to provide children Christmas who otherwise would not have been able to do so.
My wife and I have three children: two boys who are ten and three years of age and a beautiful daughter who is eight years old. There is nothing more in the world than seeing my children being fulfilled and happy.
I strongly believe that every human being deserves an opportunity to grow with dignity and respect. The US-Empowered Girls mentorship program has given me the privilege to advocate for girls and young women, especially being a girl’s dad.
My Quote,
“Focus on your personal development more than anything else.”
