US-Empowered Girls Inc. is a non-profit, platinum-rated, structed mentoring program designed for girls and young women 9-21 years of age. Our mentoring program help girls and young women build confidence and develop a high sense of self, which is hugely beneficial in improving independence, self-confidence, and overall well-being.

Empowering Teenage Girls: Building Confidence and Self-Awareness Through Mentorship
Today, there are many factors that affect girls’ identities and may contribute to teens’ low self-esteem. Such factors include their physical appearance, peers, society, social media, interests, self-expression, and life experience. Self-esteem is a significant factor influencing how girls feel about themselves and how they think others feel about them.
When girls start our mentoring program, they are emotionally drained, tired, and finding it hard to cope with the physical and emotional changes they are experiencing.
As a result, they may have many questions about things like menstruation, social media, their appearance, friendships, bullying and self-esteem.
They may even find themselves questioning every aspect of their life, including their identity, when asked the question, “Who are you?”
Our mentoring program helps girls to develop a high sense of self, which affects how we perceive ourselves. We help girls find their sense of self by highlighting how their unique identity sets them apart from others.
Additionally, we help girls prioritize their self-esteem. A healthy self-esteem allows girls and young women to value who they are and acknowledge and embrace their identity, regardless of what life brings their way. Additionally, we help girls change their mindsets, encouraging them to think positively and to prioritize reassuring thoughts. Most importantly, we teach them how to avoid comparing themselves to others, to love who they are becoming, and to surround themselves with positive people while practicing self-care and self- compassion.
Upon completion of our mentoring program, girls develop a high sense of self, and gain knowledge of who they are. They come to understand that no human being is perfect and that everyone makes mistakes at times. Accepting this fact about humanity can also strengthen their sense of self.
