My name is Dodi Blocker. I was born in the early sixties. My momma did her very best to raise me. The pressure I experienced back then can be related to what girls are going through today.
When I was growing up, I wished I had someone to talk to, a mentor, someone outside my family circle who would not judge me or take sides. As much as I loved my parents, it wasn’t always easy to talk to them about the personal feelings I was having and the things I was experiencing in my life.

Every day, I strive to be the mentor to girls and young women that I needed in my life. A safe place that is trusted and respected, a place where girls can feel confident and whole. I want every girl around the world to love herself as she has been created.
